JOIN THE TEAM

What makes the church is people like you. People like you that would go out of their comfort zone and step into the area of ministry. The time you invest in the Gospel is important, and we want to help you in every way we can. Here at Victory we have many areas that you can get involved in such as ushers, greeters, children, youth, media, and many more. All areas available are listed on the back of the Volunteer Application.

In order to join the team we ask that you follow these 2 steps:

-        Join the church as a member
-        Fill out a Volunteer Application

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A VOLUNTEER:

Commit – To be a volunteer we ask that you commit to at least 2 services a month for the duration of at least 6 months. This is necessary for training, the need for stability in the department and the value of experience. We find that with volunteers who get plugged in and find their niche reach another level of fulfillment and acceptance in the church body.

Communicate – Contact the person in charge over the department of your interest to find out any necessary requirements, waiting period or minimum commitments. Fill out a Volunteer Application. After you’re plugged in be sure to communicate to your coordinator regarding your schedule. Sometimes we need help filling in or sometimes you might not be available to serve, either way stay in communication with the team and coordinator.

Create – While you’re serving create a positive environment with your words and dress, for all those influenced by your service. Volunteers are an extension of the church and ultimately an extension of the hands and feet of Jesus. A volunteer is in a position to pour out the love of God and become a mighty vessel that God can use in someone’s life. It may take YOU to reach a specific person that God has a plan for. That’s why it’s important to be sure to represent Jesus through your words and dress.
