Each Sunday at 2:00 pm, we provide food, clothes, blankets, toiletries and share Hope with men and women in need. If you would like to be a part of this exciting ministry, or would like to donate, please contact Pastor Darnell at (512) 458-9100. Men’s items such as clean socks, underwear, jeans, jackets and shirts are most useful.

Each summer before school starts, we host a special event for our neighborhood families. In addition to a great time, fun and games and a powerful message, each school aged child that attends is given a backpack filled with school supplies. Some 700 children are blessed by this event. We are privileged to be a part of their lives, and to be able to pray for them and bless them as they start off the new school year.
Ministering to our Community
Super King’s Kids is a ministry to our surrounding St. John’s neighborhood. Each Thursday night, we pick up an average of 120 children from our area, children who may come from economically disadvantaged homes, broken families, and or only Spanish speaking households. We bring them here and share with them the Good news of Jesus, offer them love, forgiveness and acceptance, and plant seeds of biblical faith in each one that we believe will reap a harvest that will continue to produce for their entire lives.
We also provide several large-scale outreaches to this community each year, such as our Back To School Outreach, offering a fun filled program packed with the message of Truth, as well as providing school supplies and backpacks. Our Easter Outreach, Super King’s Kids’ Angel Tree, and other special events throughout the year targeting this community have resulted in families being restored, people being healed, and hearts being turned for Jesus Christ.
Xtreme Love 
Home Makeovers
Pastor Sue has been led to bless some of our disadvantaged neighbors with an “Extreme LOVE Home Makeover.” We’ve gone into poverty stricken, dilapidated homes and have remodeled, refinished, and refurnished them inside and out as a way to share the love of Jesus with our neighbors. We’ve been astounded by the generosity of our congregation who have been the hands and feet of Jesus, and by companies who have donated materials that have made this possible. Feed My Sheep – Connect Group
First Sundays of each month. We meet at the church at 1:30 immediately following second service and carpool together to the Salvation Army parking lot to love the people (men, women, and children) we find who are living on the streets of Austin. We take toiletries, water, underclothes, sandwiches to bless these individuals that God loves. Join us as we reach out with the Love of God to our neighbors…
